ALLAYERS specializes in web-based software
Thin-client/server is back and it's not a hype this time.
Browser-based software running on intranets and extranets is gradually taking over from fat-client applicatons.
It's obvious that this approach saves money for companies, installation and maintenance of desktop computers was often
costing more than the hardware itself.
ALLAYERS.COM is about GUI on the web
The goal is: desktop-like graphical user interfaces (GUI) for on the web, but not via plugins or proprietary tools.
The demonstrated scripts show a relatively simple combination of
PHP
on the server and DHTML (CSS/JavaScript) in the browser: Dynamic HTML, supplying toolbars, dialogs and
drag/drop effects to scripts like TrueColor.
ALLAYERS.COM is also about generating code like DHTML, SQL and XML with PHP. There are still huge possibilities for new applications of this!
Other in development projects are web based programming tools and online games.
